Visit Details
Christ Church has a gravel parking lot that runs the length of our property. When driving in the parking lot, ignore the painted lines from the old road. Each side of our railing is one way; closest to the brick church yard wall, traffic flows north to south. The other side of the chain line flows south to north. Cars should "nose in" to the chain at an angle. Parallel parking along the brick wall is permitted.
- Historic Christ Church: Open to visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Historic Christ Church Cemetery: Aaccessible from sunrise to sunset.
Morning tours and bus group visits to the church are available by appointment.
The church has restroom facilities open to visitors while on the grounds, during normal business hours.
Buses are welcome. Buses should park in appropriate locations and should refrain from idling motors for long periods of time.

St. Ignatius Chapel is open to visitor and tour buses by appointment only. There are no on site staff or offices.

Christ Church, Frederica, has a rich history dating back to 1736 with the missionary work of Charles and John Wesley. Over the centuries, we have grown from a small mission to a thriving Episcopal church, with contributions from countless historic and contemporary members who shaped our development.
